Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep building systems running smoothly. You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of hands-on maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to read diagrams and work safely in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining facility or utility systems.
• Electrical license preferred (Journeyman level desirable).
• Experience with chillers, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, plumbing, electrical distribution, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical diagrams and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on facility equipment including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot facility and utility systems, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to maintenance procedures.
• Support facility equipment startups, shutdowns, upgrades, and installations.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and logs for completed work and equipment performance.
• Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and vendors to maintain effective facility operations.
