Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is currently hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician in the Canton area. The role focuses on keeping commercial facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained, with hands-on duties across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.

The ideal candidate has background in building maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in facility or building maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings to identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Repair and maintain mechanical systems per health and safety standards.
• Electrical maintenance: replace fixtures, bulbs, outlets, and breakers.
• Assist with HVAC, ventilation, and refrigeration system upkeep.
• Maintain heating, plumbing, and related building systems.
• Inspect fire alarms and safety systems and coordinate repairs.
• General repairs: doors, locks, windows, fixtures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Assist with landscaping and exterior upkeep.
• Complete painting, carpentry, and facility projects.
• Support pest control and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
