Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Maintenance Facilitator/Coordinator to coordinate daily maintenance operations, schedule preventive tasks, and manage work orders. You will serve as the main liaison for staff requests and coordinate external vendors for repairs.

The role requires knowledge of building systems, CMMS experience, and strong organizational and communication skills to ensure safety and efficiency across facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, or operations experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities is preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Experience using CMMS or maintenance management software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and prioritize work orders.
• Schedule preventive maintenance.
• Assign work orders to technicians and monitor completion.
• Serve as the primary contact for maintenance requests from staff, tenants, or departments.
• Coordinate outside vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services.
• Maintain maintenance records using CMMS and related documentation.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety procedures.
• Conduct facility inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Support emergency maintenance and after-hours coordination when required.
• Prepare reports on maintenance performance and compliance.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
