St. Gabriel's Community is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform custodial, groundskeeping and general maintenance tasks to keep the facility, grounds and equipment safe and well-maintained.

Responsibilities include cleaning, floor care, minor repairs, grounds work, and safe operation of hand and power tools. Healthcare experience preferred; valid driver's license required.

This role is based in Kentucky with a robust benefits package and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualificações

• Performs custodial duties, including trash removal, cleaning, and housekeeping if needed.

• Assists with building maintenance and repairs on interior/exterior surfaces.
• Assists with grounds maintenance: lawn care and snow removal.
• Operates hand and power tools and maintenance equipment safely.

Overview

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for a variety of general custodial, groundskeeping, and general maintenance tasks that assure the facility, grounds and equipment are safe, well-maintained, and attractive in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

Performs general custodial tasks including, but not limited to, removing trash, washing windows /walls, moving furniture and supplies and fill-in housekeeping duties if needed.Performs floor care such as cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning throughout the facility.Assists with building maintenance and construction work as needed on all surfaces, interior or exterior of facility.Assists with grounds maintenance, including but not limited to lawn care, snow removal.Assists with general repairs to facility and residents’ equipment.Operates numerous hand and power tools, and may be required to use various machines, such as floor care, grounds-keeping, and maintenance equipment safely.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

• Experience in a health care setting
• Building and grounds maintenance experience
• Valid Driver’s License as appropriate and acceptable driving record that meets Benedictine requirements
