Bachman’s is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Specialist in Minneapolis, MN. This full-time union position involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, performing preventative maintenance, and contributing to projects that improve operations.

You’ll handle refrigeration, electrical work, and general repairs, coordinating with managers for job planning and materials, and responding to emergencies as needed. A boiler operation capability is required.

Qualifications

• EPA certification preferred for maintenance work.
• Boilers license or willingness to obtain within six months of start.
• Valid driver’s license required for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, preventative tasks, troubleshooting and projects involving refrigeration, electrical and general repair.
• Consult with a manager to plan job needs and arrange materials and supplies.
• Respond to emergencies at assigned complexes as required.
• Operate low pressure boilers.
