Job summary

CENTERVILLE in is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant – Painting & Room Renovation to maintain the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with applicable standards, policies and procedures. You will coordinate with nursing services during routine tasks and perform various maintenance duties across the facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for respective shift or area.
• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.
• Ensure that the facility and its equipment is properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
