Job summary

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in skilled building trade or maintenance.
• Four years of supervising employees, inmates, or contractors.
• Ability to plan, organize, and direct maintenance programs.
• Ability to read plans, estimates, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide agency-wide leadership and direct supervision of maintenance personnel.
• Establish priorities, schedules, and standards for facilities and maintenance work.
• Coordinate resources across facilities and traveling teams to address priorities.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and monitor compliance and safety.
• Review contracts, budgets, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff and ensure professional development.
• Monitor and improve energy management and building systems performance.
