Job summary

Virtua in Mount Holly, NJ, seeks a facilities maintenance professional to uphold buildings, grounds, equipment and utilities for safe, reliable operation. The role supports STAR standards and on-site operations at the Mount Holly campus.

You will respond to maintenance calls, perform preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other systems, participate in construction projects, document work, and assist with on-call responses including snow removal and emergencies.

Qualifications

3 years general maintenance experience or equivalent education.
Healthcare environment experience preferred.
HS diploma or equivalent.
Vocational training preferred.
Universal CFC license preferred.

Responsibilities

Responds to unscheduled, routine and emergency maintenance calls.
Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment, including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting and Mechanical as required.
Works on construction and installation projects as required.
Performs daily rounding within the Facility for safety and compliance purposes.
Responds to emergency calls and on-call schedules as needed (snow removal, utility failures, disaster response, etc.).
Completes documentation (work orders, log books, round log sheets) to reflect work performed.
