Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ seeks a Facilities Maintenance professional to maintain buildings, grounds, equipment and utilities for safe and efficient operations.

This full-time, on-site role requires responding to maintenance calls, performing preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other systems, completing documentation, and sometimes working on construction projects. A HS diploma is required, with vocational training preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years general maintenance experience or equivalent education preferred.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to unscheduled, routine and emergency maintenance calls.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment. May include but not limited to: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting and Mechanical systems as required.
• Works on construction and installation projects as required.
• Performs daily rounding within the Facility for safety and compliance purposes.
• Responds to emergency calls and works on-call schedules as needed (either during or outside of regular working hours). This includes but is not limited to snow removal, utility failures, disaster response, etc.
• Complete documentation (work orders, log books, round log sheets) to reflect work performed.
