Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance department and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility’s plant and environmental systems. The role also ensures well-kept grounds and compliance with safety standards.

The position requires coordinating repairs, managing a preventive maintenance program, and budgeting for the department, with emphasis on punctuality and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building codes and rules and regulation regarding the operation of plant equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA and other safety requirements.
• Skilled in directing and motivating the workforce.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance department and ensures safe, efficient operation of plant and environmental systems.
• Monitors appearance and upkeep of facility grounds.
• Conducts regular maintenance and repair projects for facility and grounds.
• Schedules third-party repairs when needed to ensure continuous operations.
• Directs maintenance on utility systems to provide heat, power, gas, or air as required.
• Develops preventive maintenance programs.
• Prepares and monitors departmental budget.
