Qualifications

• 2-3 years of job-related experience or equivalent combo of education/experience.
• Ability to meet physical requirements incl. lifting up to 50 lbs and performing standing, climbing, and manual tasks.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience analyzing information and applying standard practices for judgments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives in building operations.
• Perform day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance; complete required records.
• Review work orders; estimate time and materials; order supplies.
• Assist with installation and modification of building systems; troubleshoot plumbing, roofing, HVAC, and equipment.
• Inspect new installations for code compliance and safety.
• Maintain lighting systems and grounds; perform basic carpentry, welding, locksmith tasks as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance. Complete upkeep and repair records as required.
• Review assigned work orders. Estimate time and materials needed to complete repair. Order necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment systems. Troubleshoot and repair installed systems including plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain lighting systems throughout facility. This includes cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
• Maintain property grounds by performing such tasks as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing, and snow removal.
• Perform welding, carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job- related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Valid Driver's License needed.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
