Job summary

Pyramid Management Group in New York is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our center's facilities running smoothly. You will perform interior and exterior repairs, preventive maintenance, and work with contractors as needed.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience, basic plumbing, and HVAC preventive maintenance skills, with a High School Diploma or GED. A proactive work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in general building maintenance or equivalent trade background.
• Solid basic plumbing skills and comfort handling routine HVAC preventative maintenance.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep operations running smoothly: interior and exterior repairs including drywall, painting, flooring, masonry patching, roofing, and structural touch-ups.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems (sprinklers, extinguishers).
• Provide friendly on-site assistance to customers and maintain clear communication with supervisor about equipment health.
• Coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are underway.
