Job summary

Zentis, through its Philadelphia facility, is seeking a Building Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair the building's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and structural systems on a day shift 8am–4pm.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, system upgrades, safety compliance, and thorough documentation of work orders. The role requires hands-on experience with building systems, a toolbox of skills, and strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a building maintenance department preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
• Ability to read building drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems according to established schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building-related issues.
• Inspect facilities routinely and identify safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Repair doors, locks, ceilings, walls, flooring, and other building components.
• Complete work orders accurately and document maintenance activities.
• Support facility improvement projects and equipment installations.
