Job summary

Apogee Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Facilities to lead maintenance and die shop activities across shifts at the Reed City site.

The role focuses on standardizing maintenance practices, managing budgets, and driving capital projects while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in facilities and equipment maintenance, an associate degree in a technical field, and strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field is required or preferred; a Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in facilities and equipment maintenance.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, plant engineering, and die shop activities across shifts.
• Standardize maintenance practices including preventive maintenance and CMMS usage.
• Manage facility budgets, capital projects, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and internal policies.
• Develop and implement training, SOPs, and technical programs for maintenance staff.
• Coordinate purchasing, service contracts, and vendor relationships for facilities.
