Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Maintenance/Facilities Manager in the United States (Ohio, Euclid) to oversee maintenance, renovations, and compliance. The role requires coordinating contractors, optimizing utility usage, and ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of facilities management experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and a solid grasp of IT packages.

Responsibilities

• Manage telecommunications, heat, electricity, plumbing, and refurbishments and ensure they are well maintained.
• Ensure facilities meet government regulations and EH&S standards.
• Oversee building projects, renovations, or refurbishments.
• Handle facility emergencies as they arise.
• Maintain equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
• Inspect buildings' structures to determine repair or renovation needs.
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
• Supervise facilities staff and external contractors for maintenance.
• Control activities such as parking, waste disposal, and building security.
• Handle service contracts including company vehicles.
• Keep financial and non-financial records.
