Balfour Beatty Communities in New London, CT is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of technicians and grounds staff, ensuring work orders are completed to high standards and in full compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate maintenance activities, manage inventories, track performance metrics, and collaborate with environmental and safety teams to maintain quality living environments for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of property management or maintenance operations experience.
• One year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• College courses or technical training with relevant trade certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of maintenance technicians and grounds staff across properties.
• Direct and organize work orders to meet response times and quality standards.
• Coordinate with environmental and safety teams on order completion and compliance.
• Track key metrics and provide regular performance reports.
• Manage procurement and inventory of maintenance supplies and SDS.
• Ensure safety training and PPE compliance for all staff.
