Job summary

SSC Services For Education is seeking a Maintenance Manager for Mercy University in Dobbs Ferry, NY. The role leads facilities engineering, maintenance operations, and a team of staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure safe, reliable campus facilities.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressive facilities maintenance experience, a journeyman-level license in electrical/HVAC/plumbing, and strong CMMS and documentation skills to drive continuous improvement across building systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; trade or vocational training preferred.
Minimum five years of progressive facilities maintenance experience with prior supervisory experience.
Must hold a journeyman-level electrical, HVAC (EPA certified), or plumbing license; master license preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop maintenance staff and contractors.
Oversee HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire safety, and food service equipment upkeep.
Ensure work meets codes, standards, and licensing requirements.
Review contractor work for quality and compliance; recommend repairs or upgrades.
Utilize CMMS data to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
