Job Summary

As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the overall management and operations of the healthcare facility, ensuring that services offered to the customers are of superior quality.

Responsibilities

1. Management duties: including hiring, professional development, communication with staff, performance reviews, and personal responsibility for the Facility team.
2. Office Services: organizing and managing daily activities and events, project and move management, developing office standards and policies, managing vendor contracts, assisting with new hires, communicating events or service announcements, maintaining intranet pages, and producing a monthly newsletter.
3. Vendor Management: maintaining vendor relations, coordinating with outside vendors, monitoring performance and quality, researching new vendors.
4. Safety and Security: ensuring safety and security for the facility, managing emergency response plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, acting as after-hours contact for property management, and training staff on emergency procedures.
5. Purchasing and Reporting: managing financial reports, attendance, payroll, inventory, service reports, and documenting accomplishments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years management experience in facilities services or related fields.
• Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions under stress.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience with outside vendors, accounts payable/receivable, and budget management.
• Proficiency in Internet and Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
