Rosetta Bakery is seeking an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee repairs, maintenance, vendors, and facility needs across 19 locations, with growth on the horizon. This role combines hands-on work with strategic oversight and requires travel to Miami-area locations.

You will inspect stores, troubleshoot issues, manage vendor relationships, obtain quotes, and ensure timely work within budget. Proficiency with Monday.com and strong communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all facility repairs and maintenance requests across multiple store locations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for facility-related issues reported by Store Managers, Area Managers, and HQ.
• Visit Miami-area locations as needed to inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve facility issues in person.
• Perform or assist with basic repairs and maintenance tasks when appropriate and within experience.
• Determine when an issue can be resolved internally and when a licensed/vendor is required.
• Coordinate repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, fixtures, doors, lighting, and other store-related systems.
• Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, landlords, property managers, and service providers.
• Obtain quotes, compare options, schedule service calls, and follow up until work is completed.
• Ensure repairs are completed correctly, on time, and within budgets.
• Track open maintenance requests and provide updates to Store Managers, Area Managers, and leadership.
• Use Monday.com or similar project management systems to track work orders, vendors, repairs, deadlines, and follow-ups.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and recurring service needs.
• Assist with permits, fire department requirements, inspections, certificates, licenses, and compliance matters.
• Coordinate with landlords regarding building repairs, approvals, access, responsibilities, and property-related matters.
• Respond quickly to urgent facility issues that may impact store operations.
• Maintain records of repairs, invoices, warranties, vendor information, service agreements, and maintenance history.
• Identify recurring problems and recommend practical long-term solutions.
• Support new store openings, renovations, installations, and facility-related projects.

Rosetta Bakery is looking for an experienced, highly organized, hands‑on, and solutions‑driven Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee repairs, maintenance, vendors, and facility‑related needs across 19 locations, with continued growth expected.

This role will be responsible for coordinating and resolving all facility‑related issues reported by Store Managers, Area Managers, and HQ, including equipment failures, repairs, preventive maintenance, landlord‑related matters, permits, inspections, and other operational needs that impact store operations.

We are looking for someone who is not only strong at coordinating vendors and managing multiple locations, but who is also hands‑on and willing to personally handle basic repairs or troubleshooting when appropriate, particularly at our Miami‑area locations.

This is not a desk‑only Facilities position. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing contractors and vendors while also visiting stores, assessing issues firsthand, troubleshooting problems, and handling simple repairs when they can reasonably be completed internally.

Qualifications

• Previous Facilities Management / Maintenance Management experience required, preferably within restaurants, hospitality, retail, food service, or another multi‑location environment.
• Experience managing multiple locations simultaneously.
• Strong general knowledge of building maintenance and repairs.
• Must be comfortable with a hands‑on approach and willing to personally troubleshoot or complete basic repairs when appropriate.
• Experience with common facility issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, fixtures, doors, and general maintenance.
• Ability to recognize when a repair requires a licensed professional or specialized vendor.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, landlords, and service providers.
• Experience with permits, inspections, fire department requirements, and facility compliance is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Monday.com or similar work‑order/project‑management systems.
• Strong computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, documentation, and tracking systems.
• Excellent organizational and follow‑up skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls, emails, maintenance requests, and urgent issues throughout the day.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and practical decision‑making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Some days may involve coordinating multiple vendors and landlords across several locations. Other days may require driving to a Miami store to inspect an issue, troubleshoot equipment, adjust something, replace a simple component, or determine exactly what type of vendor is needed.

The right person will know the difference between a problem that can be handled internally and one that requires a licensed professional.

Because our company currently operates 19 locations and continues to grow, this role requires someone who can manage a large number of open issues at the same time while maintaining strong follow‑up and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate combines Facilities Management experience, technical/common‑sense troubleshooting ability, strong people skills, and a hands‑on mentality.
