Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring cost-effective, compliant operations. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate with contractors, and manage preventive programs to keep facilities in peak condition.

The role requires 7+ years in facilities maintenance leadership, strong budgeting and contract management skills, and experience with maintenance management systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Facilities Maintenance management.
• Experience with budgeting, service contracts, and capital projects preferred.
• Strong planning, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with a maintenance management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily facilities maintenance across buildings, grounds, and site infrastructure.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, generators, and utilities.
• Coordinate inspection and maintenance of rail infrastructure and heavy equipment.
• Manage contracts, leases, and vendor agreements; monitor performance.
• Administer work orders, budgets, and capital improvement projects.
