Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking an EHS Coordinator to support environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple facilities. You will maintain compliance records, coordinate training, track regulatory requirements, and ensure documentation is audit-ready.

This role involves routine yard and facility walkthroughs to support inspections, compliance, and safety initiatives, with regular interaction across site personnel, supervisors, contractors, and HR.

Qualifications

• Experience in EHS and regulatory compliance is required or highly desirable.
• Experience in training administration and document control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and electronic record systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance records and training matrices.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and required safety training.
• Track regulatory requirements and assist with audits.
• Conduct routine yard and facility inspections to identify safety concerns.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain ISO, EHS, contractor, vendor, and permit documentation.
