Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our United States facility in Georgia (LaFayette). You will direct a team responsible for repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery, and oversee upkeep of buildings and utility systems to ensure continuous production.

The role requires an engineering or technical degree and at least 5 years of related experience, with a focus on preventive maintenance, cost control, and process improvement. Competitive base salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Typical requires an Engineering Degree, Technical Associates Degree or completion of Vocational/Technical certification/licensure program.
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Develops preventive maintenance programs with engineering staff.
• Resolves maintenance problems with management, engineering, and quality control to improve operations.
• Directs training of workers to follow company policies and procedures.
• Ensures facilities and equipment operate efficiently and within budget.
• Plans and implements new methods to reduce costs and optimize labor/materials use.
• Coordinates fabrication/ modification work to improve products.
• Reviews job orders to set work priorities.
• Schedules repairs and installations to ensure continuous production.
• Inspects machines and equipment for compliance with standards.
