Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager for an Independent Living community. This hands-on, single-site role leads building maintenance and contributes to the leadership team to ensure dependable operations and resident comfort.

You’ll oversee repairs, system maintenance, and preventive work, coordinate vendors, and monitor budgets while upholding safety standards and compliance across the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical certification preferred.
• 4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Experience managing work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee repairs, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and ensure readiness.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance needs as required.
• Coordinate vendors and support maintenance-related services.
• Monitor maintenance budgets, supplies, and expenses.
• Support housekeeping and community operations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
