Job summary

Hunter Douglas, a world-leading window coverings manufacturer, seeks a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the facility's structural, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems and to coordinate with external service providers.

You will ensure OSHA compliance, maintain service records, support capital projects and conduct routine inspections to preempt issues, all while upholding safety and quality standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA standards and building codes.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and officials.
• Mechanical aptitude for facility systems and machinery.
• Good communication and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of facility systems (structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Serve as primary contact for external facility service providers (janitorial, utilities, waste management).
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and coordinate with specialists for complex repairs.
• Maintain records related to maintenance activities, service contracts, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and internal safety protocols.
• Coordinate with municipalities to maintain fire codes and building standards.
• Support capital improvement projects and equipment upgrades as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
