Avantor is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the operation and maintenance of building, equipment, and grounds at our St. Louis site. You will supervise a team of facilities associates, manage parts inventory and budgets while coordinating with outside contractors and vendors.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient maintenance planning. You will plan organizational structure to meet growth, ensure alignments with budgets, and drive continuous improvement

Competenze

5 years related experience desired; 1+ year leadership responsibility.
Trainer certification is a plus.
Familiarity with computer systems, warehouse systems and computerized scanning equipment is a plus.
Emphasis on safety is extremely important.

Mansioni

Supervise maintenance associates daily to ensure safe, clean and efficient operation.
Develops and implements maintenance work schedules and assignments to ensure efficient operation.
Determine needs for equipment leases, purchases, and services.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and maintain vendor relationships.
Ensure that necessary licenses and permits are obtained.
Directs and supervises all work orders and ensures timely completion.
