Job summary

Conner Prairie Museum in Fishers, IN seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the Facilities team, oversee plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical repairs across historic and modern buildings, and coordinate preventive maintenance programs.

You will hire and schedule staff, manage work orders, ensure OSHA compliance, read drawings, monitor KPIs with the Director of Facilities, and partner with department managers to keep operations safe, efficient, and cost-effective.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; Bachelor's degree in facilities management or related field is desired.
• Five years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages, coaches and develops a high performing maintenance team.
• Hires and schedules staff to cover maintenance needs.
• Coordinates FMX software for work orders and follow-up.
