Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a maintenance supervisor in Fort Worth, TX. You will plan, supervise, and perform day-to-day maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with SOPs.

Responsibilities include coordinating staff and outside vendors, conducting PMI inspections, and maintaining records of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems. A high school diploma or GED and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years of related vocational training.
• Three years of maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related systems.
• At least one year in a supervisory role.
• Valid State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, supervise and evaluate work of staff and outside vendors; train employees and monitor progress for quality and compliance.
• Maintain interior and structural facilities, including plumbing, carpentry, painting and routine repairs.
• Inspect and adjust mechanical systems; document heating, cooling, piping and electrical maintenance per schedules.
• Oversee preventative maintenance of equipment; coordinate minor repairs and maintenance on lighting, fixtures, and plumbing.
• Research, negotiate and secure outside contractors for routine and special services with guidance from Properties Manager.
