Qualifications

• 5–10 years industry experience with 3–5 years direct experience in a maintenance related activity.
• 1–3 years supervisor experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance operations, machinery and manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Experienced in root cause analysis techniques.
• Familiar with lean manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for equipment and machinery throughout the facility.
• Evaluate and resolve causes machinery and equipment failure through maintenance work order and preventative maintenance system.
• Leads and motivates a group of maintenance technicians whose primary responsibility is to repair and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Keeps tools and machinery at adequate levels and ensures shop areas are neat, organized, safe.
• Maintains a preventative maintenance cycle and tracks maintenance activities.
• Coordinates vendor managed repairs and service contracts.
• Reviews assets and plans capital expenditures and budget inputs.
• Recruits and mentors maintenance personnel.
