Job summary

gategroup is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a 24/7 operations environment in Hawaii. You will maintain mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems, lead contractor work, and ensure safety and quality across multiple locations.

The role requires 7–10 years of related experience with expertise in electrical/plumbing, HVAC, and building systems, plus ability to work outdoors and lift heavy loads. Some travel to unit facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Requires at least 7-10 years of recent related experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, oversees and may assist assigned contractors ensuring safety, quality and cleanliness of work performed.
• Performs building repairs including drywall, paint, wall-covering, ceiling tile and grid, carpet and tile flooring, door hardware.
• Performs plumbing repairs including faucets, sinks, urinals, toilets, drains, and valves.
• Performs exterior repairs including irrigation, signs, fence, roof, and metal siding.
• Performs preventive maintenance to building systems and equipment as assigned.
• Performs electrical repairs such as replacing lamps, ballasts, switches, receptacles, wiring of motors, and installation of circuits.
• Maintains parts inventory and purchases parts as required.
