Job summary

Kidango is seeking a Maintenance Lead to organize, guide, and support a team of Maintenance Assistants across multiple centers in the Bay Area. You’ll manage work orders, ensure safety, and coordinate contractors, while upholding quality and regulatory compliance.

This on-site role requires hands-on maintenance, strong communication, and the ability to balance operational needs with safety standards. TB test and background clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass health screening
• Must pass TB test
• Valid Driver License
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Organize, assign, and prioritize daily work for the Maintenance Assistants based on work order urgency and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to assistants on work orders and repairs.
• Train and onboard new assistants on procedures, equipment, safety practices, and the work order system.
• Serve as the first point of contact for team questions and resolve routine issues within Lead’s authority.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on team performance, training needs, and staffing coverage.
• Coordinate schedules, shift coverage, and time-off requests with supervisor approval.
