Qualifications

  • Two years of experience or training in building trades, maintenance, or related fields.
  • Two-year vocational program in general building construction or engineering.
  • Twelve semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain campus facilities, equipment, and grounds to ensure safe, efficient operations.
  • Carry out automotive, electrical, carpentry, and limited appliance repair work.
  • Inspect equipment to identify repair needs and assist with welding, blueprint reading, and field repair techniques.
  • Operate heavy‑duty vehicles and specialized equipment essential to facility operations.
  • Replace parts, make adjustments, and ensure functionality of campus systems.
  • Maintain campus grounds and perform custodial tasks to ensure cleanliness and safety.
