Job summary

Moapa Band of Paiutes is seeking a Maintenance Worker to care for and maintain facilities, including custodial, groundskeeping, and routine repairs. You will perform cleaning, minor repairs, and operate maintenance equipment to ensure safe, orderly facilities.

The role requires 18+ years of age, a HS diploma or GED, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Dependable and able to work independently.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating maintenance equipment.
• Able to follow supervisor's instructions.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment alcohol/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Performs general building maintenance and custodial duties.
• Sweeps and cleans floors and grounds.
• Makes minor building repairs.
• Carpentry, plumbing, painting, and cleaning.
• Replaces fixtures, bulbs, doors, locks, and repairs leaky faucets.
• Vacuums and dusts office areas.
• Disposes of waste from offices and containers.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms.
• Spot cleans walls and floors.
• Washes windows inside and outside.
• Moves equipment and furniture during cleaning.
• Performs periodic inspections and recommends repairs.
• Sweeps walkways and removes debris.
• Supports outside landscape maintenance as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
