Job summary

Techflex is seeking a General Laborer in Sparta Township, NJ to support maintenance, facility upkeep, and production readiness. The role ensures tools, equipment, and parts are available to sustain safe, efficient operations.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered, with opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience or training.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance technicians with preventative and corrective maintenance activities on equipment and facility systems.
• Support equipment disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly under supervision.
• Retrieve, organize, and stage tools, parts, and materials required for maintenance projects.
• Assist with installation, relocation, and setup of machinery, equipment, and facility assets.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication, painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Organize and maintain MRO inventory, including spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Receive, stock, label, and distribute maintenance materials and equipment.
• Identify low inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management.
• Maintain orderly storage areas to ensure efficient retrieval of materials.
• Assist with facility improvement projects, including painting, cleaning, moving equipment, and minor construction-related tasks.
