Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance General Technician in New Jersey to maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment, ensuring high availability for the supply chain.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and support the operation with timely parts and collaboration across lead techs and maintenance leadership. This entry-level role offers promotion potential to Skilled Technician/Tech II as proficiency is demonstrated, with a

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Transferrable mechanical skills.
Possess or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license.
Basic PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
Familiar with simple wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.
Experience with work order management and preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical MHE on site.
Demonstrate proficiency in hydraulic/pneumatic systems and AC/DC motors and drives.
Repair or replace belts, chains, cables and other wear components.
Read basic electrical and electronic schematics.
Utilize asset management system to create and close Work Orders with data.
Follow safety procedures and use PPE during maintenance.
