Job summary

R&R Solutions in Mooresboro, NC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance specialist to keep our site safe, functional and presentable. This boots-on-the-ground role covers interior and exterior upkeep, preventative maintenance, and reactive repairs to electrical, plumbing and building systems.

You will also handle grounds care, OSHA/EPA compliance, and document maintenance activities. A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required; forklift experience is

• Maintenance experience in a facility or industrial setting.
• Experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Forklift experience is a major plus.

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance specialist to join our team in Mooresboro. What You'll Be Doing: Interior & Exterior Excellence

Your day will be a mix of scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive repairs. You are the "first responder" for our facility's needs.

Industrial & Building Systems

• Electrical & Mechanical: Perform light-duty electrical wiring and troubleshoot industrial equipment. You'll be the go-to for keeping our machinery and appliances operational.

• Plumbing: Handle general plumbing repairs as they arise to prevent facility downtime.

• General Repair: Manage daily building maintenance tasks, from fixing a door hinge to patching a wall-no job is too small to do right.

Grounds & Property Stewardship

• Landscaping Support: Take ownership of the facility's first impression by mowing, trimming, edging, and garden upkeep.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure the property is free of debris and that all work complies with OSHA and EPA regulations. You will maintain meticulous records as required by City, State, and Federal guidelines.

What You Need to Bring

We are looking for a reliable professional who doesn't need to be micro-managed.

• The Experience: Proven experience in maintenance and repairs is required. If you have a background as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, we want to see it.

• The Tools: Proficiency with hardware tools, power equipment, and a strong mechanical aptitude.

• Physical Drive: Ability to lift and transport up to 75 lbs. You should be comfortable working from standing, kneeling, sitting, or stooping positions for extended periods.

• The Basics: High school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.

• Preferred Skills: Ability to operate a forklift is a major advantage.

• Flexibility: While primarily a daytime role, you should have the ability to work evenings, weekends, or holidays if an emergency facility need arises.
