Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of general maintenance or custodial work preferred.
• Must have valid New Mexico driver’s license or ability to obtain.
• City Operator’s Permit (COP) within six months of hire.
• May be required to work weekends/holidays/odd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and routine maintenance of City facilities and minor repairs.
• Set up and break down rooms for events; assist rental clients and staff.
• Maintain parking facilities, repair gates, replace bulbs, paint markings.
• Maintain grounds, water plants, trim shrubs, and irrigation.
• Assist in general maintenance including drywall painting and conduit installation.
• Operate forklifts and other City vehicles as needed.
• Respond to public inquiries and provide directions.
• Adhere to safety practices.
