Job summary

Kidder Mathews is seeking a Building Engineer to support the Asset Services Team in maintaining a portfolio to high professional standards. You will respond to tenant or owner requests, participate in the preventive maintenance program, and coordinate with managers and vendors to ensure quality work and timely repairs.

The role requires 3–5 years in commercial building maintenance, knowledge of building systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in commercial building maintenance or related field.
• 3+ years operating computer hardware/software (HVAC, security, MS Office, work order systems, smartphones).

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance program implementation.
• Perform inspections and complete checklists on time.
• Communicate needs for repairs to Chief or Property Manager.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and vendors.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and report safety hazards.
