Job summary

The D in Las Vegas is seeking a General Engineer to oversee routine and preventive maintenance property-wide, with working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building controls and fire safety systems. This role requires strong hands-on skills and reliable teamwork.

Responsibilities include completing work orders promptly, communicating progress, coordinating with supervisors and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to all safety policies and standards in a fast-paced hotel/casino

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of building maintenance.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire safety systems knowledge.
• Hand and power tool proficiency.
• Reading blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance property wide.
• Work daily with hand tools and company power tools.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner via computer-based system.
• Communicate work-order details and follow up to completion.
• Notify Supervisors of parts and inventory needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and adhere to policies.
• Follow safety rules and cooperate with team members.
• Interact well with others and maintain morale.
• Adhere to all policies and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
