Qualifications

• The candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years general maintenance work experience in a public facility preferred.
• Ability to perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general upkeep tasks.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document the Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Maintain mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and emergency systems.
• Inspect fire, sprinkler, and safety systems; conduct drills and safety checks.
• Shampoo carpets, strip and wax floors, and manage routine floor care.
• Perform on-site minor appliance maintenance and general repairs.
• Keep maintenance logs, prioritize work orders, and sign off upon completion.
• Handle bio-hazard waste safely and maintain clean grounds and parking areas.
• Be on-call 24 hours for emergencies via pager.
