Job summary

Serving Seniors in San Diego County is seeking a Janitorial Maintenance Custodian to perform cleaning, maintenance, and basic repairs across two facilities. You will operate an auto scrubber, paint, seal floors, and assist with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks as needed while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires 3–5 years of custodial experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of maintenance and custodial experience.
• Ability to manage a wide array of tasks with strong record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Follow the employee manual guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance/cleaning on two Serving Seniors sites.
• Operate an auto scrubber and wax/buff floors.
• Respond to work order requests promptly and document completion.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
• Assist with painting, repairs, and basic facilities tasks.
• Maintain security of buildings and monitor cameras as assigned.
