Job summary

Dallas County is seeking a Maintenance Project Coordinator to support facilities construction management and operations. The role collaborates with internal staff, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects progress on schedule and within scope.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or related field and at least three years in maintenance management with supervisory experience. A Texas driver’s license and ability to pass security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Three (3) years of work related experience in maintenance management, including one (1) year supervisory experience.
• Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record and ability to pass security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates construction management facilities projects to support the operations of Dallas County.
• Coordinates with internal and external staff, contractors, and consultants in support of the construction management functions.
• Provides reports and updates to executive staff and external entities as needed for maintenance/construction projects.
• Assists with scope establishment, milestone schedules, cost estimates, and determining need for outside professional skills.
• Assists with interviewing outside consultants/contractors, bids, contracts, and execution of contracts.
• Reviews planning, scheduling, design and construction, purchases, and installation of furniture and telecom/data equipment.
