Dallas County is seeking a Maintenance Project Coordinator to support facilities construction management and operations. The role collaborates with internal staff, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects progress on schedule and within scope.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or related field and at least three years in maintenance management with supervisory experience. A Texas driver’s license and ability to pass security clearance are required.
Responsible for the coordination of construction management facilities projects to support the operations of Dallas County and coordinates with internal and external staff, contractors and consultants (architects, engineers, designers, contractors) in support of the construction management functions.
Management Scope: May supervise associated Dallas County maintenance staff related to the facilities maintenance/construction project.
Education, Experience and Training: Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Architecture or in a job related field of study. Three (3) years of work related experience required in maintenance management, including one (1) year supervisory experience.

Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License, with a good driving record, and pass a security clearance check. Demonstrate effective organizational and leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Demonstrate ability to effectively use a personal computer.
Physical/Environmental Requirements: Requires the ability to climb ladders and lift weights in excess of 50 lbs., assisted. Ability to operate equipment efficiently and safely. Ability to withstand prolonged sitting, standing, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, stretching, and lifting. Must be able to work in varying conditions, surroundings and weather conditions.
