Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California Division seeks a dedicated Facility Support for the Long Beach Red Shield. This full-time janitorial role ensures cleanliness and upkeep of the Long Beach Community Center.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and preparing facilities for events. Requires at least two years' experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check. Training on equipment provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of related field experience required.
• Must pass FBI/DOJ background check and have a valid driver's license.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty wastebaskets.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Set up decorations, tables, chairs, ladders for events.
• Perform maintenance tasks as assigned by Facility Manager.
