Job summary

Torrance Corps is seeking a Facilities Assistant to keep the campus clean, safe, and welcoming for worship services, classes, and community events. You will perform janitorial tasks, assist with light maintenance, and help with room setups for programs and rentals across the Chapel, Crescendo Music School, and Community Hall.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year of related experience, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent; English literacy required.
• Minimum one year of housekeeping or facilities maintenance experience.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all Torrance Corps facilities.
• Perform janitorial tasks including cleaning, restrooms, and restocking supplies.
• Assist with light maintenance and facility setup for events and rentals.
• Support vehicle cleanliness and basic inspections.
• Adhere to safety and chemical handling procedures.
