Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a maintenance/janitorial role at our Lecanto, FL location. You will help keep the club clean, safe, and welcoming for members and teammates. Responsibilities include cart retrieval, floor cleaning, and exterior grounds maintenance, with opportunities to work across departments.

Weekly pay and a strong benefits package are available, along with member perks. Prior maintenance or janitorial experience is preferred, and you must be over 18 to operate certain

Qualifications

• Required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• May be less than 18 years of age to perform parking lot cart functions. Must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age restricted areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service; maintain high safety and sanitation standards for members and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness of all club areas including sales floor, offices, restrooms and outdoor grounds.
• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from parking lot to club entrance; removes trash/debris.
• Ensure carts are stocked at the club entrance and in working order.
• Perform maintenance/cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and bin emptying.
• Maintain outdoor grounds and organize supply areas.
• Operate floor scrubber, trash compactor and cardboard baler safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned and supports other departments.
