Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is hiring for a maintenance/janitorial role focused on keeping the club clean, safe, and welcoming for members and team members. You will perform routine cleaning, assist with cart corrals, and support general maintenance tasks throughout the store.

Ideal candidates have prior maintenance or janitorial experience and can work in a fast-paced retail environment while upholding high sanitation and safety standards. Regular attendance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred.
• May be 18 years of age or older to perform specific tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance and cleaning duties to maintain high safety and sanitation standards for members and team members.
• Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Maintains clean and stocked areas and ensures carts are in working order.
• Perform minor building repairs and notify management for major repairs.
• Ensure signages and club areas are clean, organized and safe.
