Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a detail-oriented maintenance/janitorial worker to keep offices and work areas clean and orderly. You will perform cleaning tasks, light maintenance, and assist with safety checks as part of daily operations.

The role requires no prior experience and involves physical activity such as lifting up to 25 pounds. The position is on-site and includes responsibilities like restocking amenities and reporting any major repair needs. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs and office space.
• Empty trash and garbage containers.
• Perform minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and related maintenance.
• Stock snack and soda machines.
• Perform limited grounds maintenance.
• Replace air conditioner filters.
• Assist in sanitation control and check safety hazards.
• Notify management concerning need for major repairs or lighting/heating/ventilation issues.
