Job summary

Service-Management-Systems is seeking a hardworking cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of commercial, retail, airport, hospitality, or institutional spaces. You will perform duties like polishing fixtures, cleaning rooms and lobbies, and ensuring floors and surfaces are well-maintained.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety standards. Training is provided, and equal opportunity employment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: No prior experience or training.
• Language Ability: Able to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to write simple correspondence. Able to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings in English.
• Math Ability: Add, subtract, and perform basic calculations with money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense in straightforward situations.
• Certificates and Licenses: No certifications needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, finishes, and polishes floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalware.
• Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Washes windows and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash to disposal area.
