Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a maintenance/janitorial team member to uphold high safety and sanitation standards across the club. Responsibilities include cart management, cleaning, and assisting members throughout shifts.

The role requires completion of required training and may involve varying duties across departments to maintain the club’s GOLD standards, with focus on safety and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• May be under 18 to perform parking lot cart functions; must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age-restricted areas.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Maintains cleanliness of all club areas including sales floor, offices, restrooms and exterior grounds.
• Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance; removes trash and debris.
• Ensures carts are stocked and in working order at the club entrance.
• Performs routine maintenance and cleaning tasks per safety standards.
• Maintains outdoor grounds and responds to maintenance needs across the club.
