Job summary

Wharton-Smith, Inc. in Sanford, FL is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Associate to support daily facility upkeep in the corporate office. You will help maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization for staff and visitors.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with duties including light repairs, restrooms, common areas, and event setup. A valid driver’s license is required, and candidates must be able to perform physical tasks indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain restrooms throughout the day with cleanliness and supplies.
• Clean and sanitize desks, countertops, doors, floors, windows and furniture.
• Sweep and mop floors as needed.
• Manage stock of consumables in kitchens, bathrooms, conference rooms and offices.
• Clean refrigerators and maintain kitchen cleanliness and appliances.
• Post and hang materials provided by management.
• Sweep entryways, dust, and maintain outdoor areas including courtyards and parking lots.
• Detail vehicles and equipment as directed.
• Assist with errands and picking up supplies or parts.
• Support vehicle and equipment transport with other staff.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown.
• Assist with furniture moves and workspace rearrangements.
• Organize storage areas and connex boxes.
• Assist with emergency repairs and special projects requiring climbing ladders or lifting.
• Perform minor facility repairs such as changing light bulbs and touch-up painting.
• Provide general support to staff as requested by management.
